New Eminem ft Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf – 2.0 Boys

Ask and you shall recieve. Upon learning that Em signed Slaughterhouse & Yel to Shady, I immediately tweeted Royce Da 5’9 asking when a collab would happen. That collab happened alot faster than I thought it was! Check it out

Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf x The XXL Cover

Here is the cover for March’s issue of XXL that features Eminem, Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf. The rap supergroup Slaughterhouse consists of Detroit rapper Royce da 5’9, Brooklyn-native Joell Ortiz, Jersey rapper Joe Budden and Crooked I from Cali. Yelawolf is looking to be the next big artist, so signing both to Shady records was not even a question to Eminem.

Eminem & Yelawolf on the signing

“Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, it’s kinda phase two of Shady,” says Eminem. “It’s the new generation of Shady Records and as we’re trying to rebuild our label, it’s exciting for hip-hop and with all of these forces coming together and with what everybody’s capable of on the mic, it’s gonna be fun.”

Said Yelawolf: “Considering where I’m from and the shit I’ve been through, it’s hard to put into words what partnering with Shady means to me, my team at Ghet-O-Vision, and my state of Alabama. I can tell you that when you’re willing to give your life up to see a dream through, the reward is great. And now that I’ve become an apprentice to one of the greatest artists in the world, my potential reaches beyond anything I ever imagined. Let’s kill this shit.”

Gank x Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf sign to Shady

Royce Da 5’9 Calls in to announce that Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf have officially signed with Shady records. I heard rumors of this in the works months ago about Slaughterhouse signing with Shady. Royce & Em both grew up together in Detroit. Em and Royce have been working together lately and 2 tracks have already leaked, one being ‘Echo.’ Yelawolf is one of my favorite rappers out right now too and he has just been killin the underground and mixtape game. Yela’s debut album Trunk Muzik is one of the dopest albums out right now, so check it out if you haven’t already. Hopefully this signing means we will be seeing a lot more Yelawolf & Slaughterhouse in the future. Maybe even a collab! Who knows.

Here is video of Royce calling in to announce the signings. Also speaks on being on next months XXL magazine, Dr Dre producing some Slaughterhouse tracks.

Here are a few drunken pictures I snapped when I got to be on stage with Slaughterhouse
